On Friday August 27th the Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre held a benefit concert at Carleton University for its Stuttering Treatment Clinic.
The concert featured performances by pianist John Kofi Dapaach, the Capital City Chorus Quartet Polaris and a String Quartet of students from Carleton’s music program.
The Ottawa Association of People who Stutter is pleased to announce that we have found a new home! The room is the "Beach Room" in the Kolbus Lakeside Centre at Britannia Park (102 Greenview Avenue). It is quite nice and bright, and it overlooks the beach. The Centre has a main hall with a stage and the entrance to the Beach room is to the left of the stage.
There is plenty of parking in front of the building. The centre can be reached by bus by taking #16 Britannia which ends at the Centre. You can also take a no. 85 and get off at the corner of Carling and Greenview Ave. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Centre.
The Stuttering Treatment Clinic will be having a benefit concert on August 27th! There's a great evening of entertainment planned, including performances by pianist John Kofi Dapaah, rock singer/songwriter/guitarist Sabrina Fallah, and special guests, the Capital City Chorus quartet, Polaris.
