The Ottawa Association of People Who Stutter (OAPWS) will be holding its first annual garage sale on Saturday June 25, 2011 in the west end of Ottawa at 2389 Iris St. The map bellow shows the location just 3 blocks west of Woodroffe and Iris Streets near the corner of Gateway St.
The garage sale will take place between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.
A wide variety of household goods will be on sale at rock bottom prices. Items include kitchen stuff, clothing, kid’s books & toys, DVDs, videos, knickknacks and much more!!
Money raised by the garage sale will go towards covering some of our group’s expenses such as rental fees for our meeting space at Lakeside Gardens Centre, printing costs for our brochures and flyers as well as incidental fees.
We will also have on hand information on our group and about stuttering.
Why not drop by and get a bargain while at the same time supporting people who stuttering and learn about our work in the community. We also want to extend a special invitation to all friends of OAPWS to drop by for a chat.
In case of rain the sale will be held Sunday June 26th.
